由於參與者多半是70歲以上老農，一年一作的越光米又稱「千歲米」，去年已成功產銷1400餘斤。昨天老中青三代在梯田割稻曬穀，由於將水圳引流，更適合越光米生長，今年上看1700斤。

曾在桃園機場擔任地勤的江榮川，離開故鄉石門好一陣子，退休後開始參與社區發展協會工作。有回他獨自坐在故鄉的聖天順母廟前，看著山下梯田荒蕪一片，心中感嘆，「怎麼跟咱囝仔時都不一樣？」於是開始找農委會、水保局舉辦課程，希望能活化這座偏鄉小社區。

去年農村再生班的老師看中尖山湖第二圳的優良水質，請他們培育日本的越光米，社區裡共有12名「穀東」合夥，每人出6000元，購買器具，並參與秧苗的採購、插秧和收割。

社區協會總幹事陳國志的父親是嵩山老農，他在基隆當駕訓班教練，去年得知消息後就投入割稻和產銷。他說，去年社區結合石門風箏節以及水保局的梯田音樂節，設攤販售，原預想1斤200元的「感情價」會降低購買意願，「沒想到竟全部賣完」，北觀處更預定作為員工尾牙的贈品。

昨天參與割稻的許至賢才24歲，原來大學主修財務金融的他，由於相當喜歡「農耕的fu」，坦言未來想回嵩山社區當農夫。陳國志表示，去年賣米所得全部回饋給社區發展協會，今年則撥用部分盈餘作為個人辛勞所得。陳國志說，希望能帶動更多年輕人回故鄉打拚。

（軍聞社記者林敬傑臺北十二日電）繼去年榮獲「二０一二年韓國首爾國際發明展」銅牌獎後，軍備局生產製造中心第二０五廠吳正豐與蘇家航等兩位上士今年再接再厲，分別以「車輛之多段式油門踏板機構」及「工具機新型磁性聯軸器」兩項創新發明，榮膺「二０一三年美國匹茲堡國際發明展」銀牌獎殊榮，他們今天接受立法院長王金平的公開表揚。

　「二０一三年美國匹茲堡國際發明展」我國代表團勇奪卅七金、卅三銀的傲人成績，王院長下午特別在立法院親自接見全體得獎人；其中，吳正豐與蘇家航等兩位上士參加三大國際發明展之一的「美國匹茲堡國際發明展」，研發作品深受評審肯定，榮獲銀牌獎，也一同接受表揚；王院長希望「為國爭光」的發明家們持續為社會貢獻所長，嘉惠世人便利生活。

　王院長表示，我國擁有越來越多的發明家與各項研發創新作品問世，除了象徵我國不斷追求進步，以及在科研方面的卓越成就外，更代表國家人才濟濟，每一位發明家都是國家重要的人才，希望他們能持續創新發明，造福人類生活。

　王金平院長更期勉發明家們「百尺竿頭，更進一步」，持續在既有的堅實基礎上，不斷實事求是、精益求精，並讓這些研發作品生產普及，進而帶動人類福祉文明，創造更美好璀璨的未來。

　軍備局生產製造中心第二０五廠吳正豐上士及蘇家航上士，二人在義守大學機械與自動化工程學系進修碩士期間，接受朱立民與徐祥禛兩位教授的指導，認真學習，分別以「車輛之多段式油門踏板機構」及「工具機新型磁性聯軸器」獲得銀牌獎，不僅證明長期致力追求卓越和自我提昇的創造能力外，更以實際行動，為國家與國軍爭光。
