西德州輕原油近一周上漲3.93美元，漲幅3.8%，收盤價107.33美元；而布蘭特原油近月期貨上漲4.43美元，漲幅4.15%，收盤價111.11美元。布蘭特原油與西德州原油價差持續放大至3.78美元。

元大寶來商品指數期信基金經理人曾士育表示，近期埃及政府以武力鎮壓暴動，死傷慘重，而利比亞罷工事件，將中斷原油日供給量達60萬桶以上，加上北海油田及奈及利亞可能減產，以及伊拉克預計9月開始進行油田維修，預計將減產50萬桶左右，整體中東北非地區近期將影響的原油日供給量高達120萬桶。

曾士育表示，全球有7%以上的原油輸出，經過蘇伊士運河及附近的輸油管，埃及的動亂，引發市場對供給面的高度疑慮。

世界各國醫美文化大不同！每個國家因為文化差異，對於醫美整型的偏好也有出入。研究指出，西方國家較偏好身體的塑形，而亞洲國家則是愛在臉上作文章。也有報告指出，以往是女性天下的醫美產業，也開始強調男性的「面子問題」，在亞洲遠比西方來得普遍。

越來越多人願意為了讓自己更有吸引力而躺上手術台，世界各國對於醫美的需求不同，對於醫美整型的要求也不一樣。根據《國際美容整形外科協會》統計，2010年整型人口數的排名，以美國居冠、巴西第2、中國第3而南韓第7；但若依國家人口比例排名，南韓位於第1、美國第6、台灣第7、中國則排在20名之外。

澳洲《ABC》報導，以人口平均來分析，在居冠的南韓中，最受歡迎的整型手術都是臉上功夫，豐唇、隆鼻、割雙眼皮等。美國整形協會羅斯博士表示，「亞洲最受歡迎的整型手術，都希望將自己整得越有西方臉越好。」

排名第2到第4的希臘、義大利和巴西都較風靡抽脂或隆乳手術，希臘人進行陰莖增大手術的數量，則是他國的10倍之多；第5名的哥倫比亞在美洲是小有名氣的醫美國家，尤其是抽脂手術，更是讓周邊國家趨之若鶩。

美國則是另一整型大國，有報導指出，好萊塢的3分之2明星曾動過大小不等的手術，其中以肉毒桿菌注射最受歡迎。而台灣按照人口比例居然爬到世界第7名，在《ABC》的報導中，最受台灣人喜愛的整型方式為注射肉毒桿菌，臉部微整型則緊追在後。

除了各國整形的理由和偏好不同外，男性進行醫美手術的比例也在逐漸增加，中國《新浪網》報導，2013年的暑假中，中國男性前往醫美中心進行手術的比例較去年增加了10%，上升到20%，在中國整型的比例75%為女性，25%為男性。多數都是因為求職和希望認識異性的原因，不惜砸大錢增加競爭力與吸引力。
